Fall is in the air, and it is that time again, folks — the Capoeira Luanda San Antonio Annual Batizado!

The batizado is a baptism for capoeristas who have dedicated their time, effort, and energy through the year and it is a celebration in the spirit of this dedication and the love of our community.

This year, we are please to co-host with our sister group in San Antonio as our very own Mestre Jelon will be here, in Austin, as a part of our Batizado event. This Friday, at Ballet Austin, Mestre Jelon will be teaching a workshop from 7pm till 10pm.  Please join us for this very special class.

We are also excited to have Professor Esquilo for workshops through this week.

• Wednesday-First Aid Class @ 7 pm (San Antonio)
• Thursday-Workshop with Professor Esquilo @ 7 pm (San Antonio)
• Friday-Workshop with Mestre Jelon @ 7 pm (Austin)
• Saturday-San Antonio Batizado @ 1 pm (San Antonio)
